Server-Side Tracking

Give your ad platforms a more complete picture of every shopper.

Automated ad campaigns learn from the signals you send. Strengthen those signals with more complete source context, linked first-party data, and shopping events from product views to purchases.

WHY SIGNAL QUALITY MATTERS

Your ad campaigns need better signals. Browser tracking faces more limits.

Your pixel does not see the whole journey

Browser restrictions, ad blockers and consent choices can leave gaps in source information, shopper identity and conversion events. A purchase can happen without the full context reaching your ad platform.

Less context for matching and measurement

Automated ads learn from the feedback you send

Google Performance Max, Meta Advantage+ and TikTok Smart+ use conversion and value signals to inform bidding and delivery. Missing or incomplete signals can leave these systems with less feedback to learn from.

Better inputs for automated decisions

Since iOS 14.5, App Tracking Transparency has changed cross-app tracking.

Missing signals can affect reporting and leave ad platforms with less feedback to learn from. Attribuly combines source context, linked first-party identity, and shopping events to strengthen conversion matching and support campaign optimization.

THE CONVERSION FEED DIFFERENCE

Not just forwarding events. Adding the context that matters.

Keep more of your ad source context

Custom tracking parameters reduce reliance on standard parameters that may be removed, helping preserve the connection between an ad visit and a later conversion.

Go beyond click IDs with first-party matching

Enrich events with valid identifiers from the shopper history you have already linked, including email and phone where supported. Use first-party matching alongside click IDs, not just the information supplied in the current visit.

Send signals across the shopping journey

Share supported product views, searches, cart additions, checkouts and purchases. Give your marketing tools visibility into earlier interest, not just the final order.

Preserve source context until consent

Preserve source information before a shopper makes a consent choice. After consent is granted, link it to identity and events, then send the enhanced signals to ad platforms.

Your questions, answered.

How is server-side tracking different from a pixel?

A pixel sends events from the browser. Server-side tracking sends events from a server to ad platforms, reducing dependence on browser-side delivery. Some events still originate in the browser. It complements your pixel; it cannot recover events that were never collected or bypass consent.

Does this replace an attribution model?

No. Server-side tracking improves parts of the collection, enrichment and delivery chain. Attribution assigns credit across available touchpoints. Sending events to ad platforms does not automatically improve another MTA tool: that tool must also receive the relevant data.

Why does signal quality matter for automated campaigns?

Performance Max, Advantage+ and Smart+ learn from available conversion and value signals. Accurate, matchable and timely feedback gives these systems a better basis for optimization. More signals alone do not guarantee better performance.

Which first-party matching technologies do you support?

Google Enhanced Conversions, Meta Conversions API customer information matching, and TikTok Events API with Advanced Matching. We use valid linked shopper information where supported. Fields are normalized, hashed or transmitted according to each platform’s requirements.

What happens before a shopper grants consent?

Source context is preserved first. Identity linking and advertising-platform delivery happen after consent is granted. This is not advertising-event sharing before consent, and it remains subject to applicable storage rules and the shopper’s consent choices.

Can I send product views as well as purchases?

Yes, supported destinations can receive earlier events such as product views, searches, cart additions and checkouts. The available events and fields differ by destination. Earlier events can inform audiences and analysis; they are not automatically purchase-optimization goals.

Will this guarantee higher ROAS or more revenue?

No. Better signal coverage and matching support measurement and optimization, but results depend on your traffic, campaigns and setup. The Google Ads example above is a reported-value difference in one account, not a revenue or ROAS uplift guarantee.
